Adrenalin Junkie/Thrillseeker: Jeremy lives for being on the edge. His psychiatric profile mentions a death wish. Jeremy will try anything he feels he can survive and he does not feel alive unless the adrenaline is pumping.
Enemy: Chad Stuart and the Golden Eagles Gang: Chad and Jolt are rivals on and off the racetrack. They do not like each other and neither do thier respective Fan Bases. The Golden Eagles gang wear Chads’ Golden Eagle on crimson biker leathers and are rivals to Jolts Fanclub, the Silver Hawks. The Silver Hawks wear leathers modeled after the Jolts’ fameous black racing leathers with his sylized slver hawk lightningbolts.
After a crash in the 2010 Supercross Finals that took both of them out of the race, the Jolt and Chad Stewart started brawling, joined by their fan bases and the two motorcylcle gangs. This incident caused over $10,000 of property damage and sent 83 people to the hospital. Both riders have been suspended indefinitely and are appealing this decision.
Fame: Daredevil of Motocross: The Jolt is arguably the best Motocross rider in the US and one of the top in the world. He is as fameous for his temper as for his riding skill. He has been on Saturday Night Live, done the talk show circuit and was even married to Vanessa Gomez, Pop Superstar, for six months
Hot Headed and Short Tempered: Think John McEnroe. The Jolt has poor self control, anger management issues and tends destroy things when mad. He is trying to control it now. I plan on making a high/low roll to see if he loses it when this comes up, but whatever you all want is fine. I would like to work this offat some point
Motivation: Redemption: In all actuality, the sinking of the “White Star Titanic” on her maiden voayage was the iceberg that sank his anger ship. He realizes his anger has gotten him where he is today, barred from participating hin his favorite sport and villified by people in the city he loves. He wants to change that. Eventually I hope to have succeded in his rehabilitation and work this off. At that point his motivation would probably change to “Must live up to Heroic Ideal”
Relationship: Vanessa Gomez: She’s his Ex, She’s a Pop Superstar, Their breakup was partially his fault, and he would like to get back together.
It’s…. just……. Complicated.
Reputation: “He Broke Up Our Superteam and Sank the ‘White Star Titanic!’”: to most people in Emerald City he is a loose cannon and the sole reason the local superteam broke up after the ‘White Star Titanic’ incident. Certainly his often volitile relationship whith the other members of the team did not help matters.
I would like to work this off eventually, and perhaps change it to “Beloved Hero of Emerald City” or something like it.

Motowiki Entry for Jeremy “the Jolt” Johnson: Jeremy Johnson Jr. was born in a small town in California called Patrick’s Point. His father, Jeremy Sr., was a motocross enthusiast and introduced his son to the sport at the age of six. His father moved the family to Emerald City in 1990 because of his job with Marstech.
Winning eighty-four Amateur national titles all before the age of 16, Johnson debuted as pro in 2001. Following the advice of his publicist, he successfully sued his father for control of his fortune only to declare bankruptcy in 2006 when his publicist embezzled the money and disappeared. While crashes, rookie mistakes and angry outbursts marred his early starts, he went on to dominate the 2001 national championship and was named the 2001 Rookie of the Year. He was also named one of “20 Teens Who Will Change the World” in the April 2002 issue of Teen Sports Illustrated. Johnson went on to win the 2002 West Supercross Championship. In 2003, a season marred by continued outbursts, Johnson received a citation for misdemeanor Disorderly Conduct in Provo, Utah after a “heated discussion” with rival Chad Stewart. He was ordered to perform community service as well as to take anger management classes. This effectively removed him from competition for the remainder of the 2003 season.
It must have worked. Johnson arrived for the 2004 season with new colors (the now famous black and blue) and a new number (#10). That year he won both the East Supercross title and the Outdoor national title, only losing one race in the latter due to a crash with Marstech rider Chad Stewart. This resulted in another display of his famous temper, a fine, and a reduction in Championship Points. His on camera outbursts and off track problems would continue to cause problems for him with officials and sponsors, but make him one of the sports most colorful and polarizing characters.
In 2005 Johnson moved up to the elite 450cc class and was slowed by a broken wrist suffered in a practice crash in the Phoenix Supercross that caused him to miss 3 races. He finally bagged his first Supercross win in Houston in only his 2nd start. Johnson became one of the premier riders in 2006 and 2007, culminating in winning the 2007 Supercross Championship despite many fines by the League for off track fighting and on camara outburts.
In 2008, Johnson met Pop Star Vanessa Gomez, leading to a whirlwind courtship and a media circus marriage that culminated in a messy divorce well documented in the tabloids.
In 2009 Johnson signed with Martechs’ Motocross team replacing Chad Stewart who signed with Yamaha. This lead to one of the sports tightest, most memorable, and sometimes most heated points race between the two riders culminating with a victory by Stewart by a margin of only 2 points.
The rivalry between the two riders continued in 2010 with Johnson sitting first in points and Stewart second in points entering the final race. A last lap crash knocked both riders out of the race giving the championship trophy to Kawasaki rider Mike Smith and leading to the now famous Black and Blue, Red and Gold brawl at the finish line between Johnson and Stewart and their respective fan bases. This incident caused over $10,000 of property damage and sent 83 people to the hospital. Both riders were banned from the sport for the 2011 season because of this incident and can appeal this decision for the 2012 season.
2011 was the year of the Silver Storm and the year Emerald City tore itself apart. Johnson joined the super team formed by Marstech to help combat the sudden increase of super crime. Six months of well documented mishaps, and public conflicts with others on the team followed, culminating in the sinking of the “White Star Titanic” cruise ship that was modeled after the original Titanic. It sank like its namesake despite the having been upgraded with “All the Modern Safety Features!!” Marstech withdrew its sponsorship at that point and the team dissolved.
Johnson has spent some of his time since playing the part of the Bad Guy on the Silver Storm Power circuit and pursuing a return to Motocross. He has done Commercial endorsements for Marstech and Bell, has even hosted an episode of “Saturday Night Live” and appeared as himself on an episode of “2 and a Half Men.“
Johnson resides in Emerald City, also the home of his old nemesis, Chad Stewart.
